**Job Title: Payroll Administrator**

**Compensation:** $40,000 to $50,000 per year

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Receive and accurately record incoming payroll documentation.
- Prepare all monthly and bi-weekly payroll checks, ensuring precise calculations. Familiarity with payroll platforms such as ADP is essential.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to process checks and manage financial records.
- Adapt to a paperless working environment, streamlining processes for efficiency.
- Clarify and research any payroll-related issues as needed, maintaining effective and professional communication with clients.
- Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring client needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Assist with client correspondence and support their various needs.
- Oversee email communications and perform some office administration tasks.

**Required Skills:**

- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent time management skills.
- Articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.

**Qualifications:**

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrator/bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Candidates with an associate degree will be considered if they have prior industry experience.
