Position :
We are seeking a highly motivated Antibody Scientist to join our Biotherapeutics team. This role involves hands-on work in antibody characterization, cloning, and expression. You will contribute to the discovery and development of novel therapeutic antibodies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Antibody Characterization: Perform binding assays (e.g., ELISA, flow, SPR, BLI) to evaluate antibody affinity, specificity, and functional properties.
Cloning and Expression: Design and construct expression vectors for antibodies; express antibodies in mammalian systems, both in-house and through contracted work.
Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and project reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including protein engineering, structural biology, and immunology, to advance antibody discovery projects
Qualifications:
PhD in a relevant field or Bachelor's Degree with about 10 years of experience Master's Degree or equivalent education with about 8 years of experience. Level will be commensurate with experience.
Hands-on experience with antibody binding characterization.
Proficiency in molecular biology/cloning and mammalian cell expression systems – with previous experience working with antibody-based therapeutics
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis software.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Experience with in vitro display technologies (e.g., phage display, yeast display) or in vivo antibody discovery (e.g., hybridoma) desired
Familiarity with sequence analysis tools, including handling of NGS data desired
Knowledge of antibody engineering and optimization strategies is a plus
Advanced knowledge of flow cytometry techniques (including sorting) and/or biosensor technology is a plus
Expected Salary Range: $127k - $142k
