Job Title: Business Process Consultant

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Process Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to bring technical or application expert knowledge into the delivery and co-operates with the TQM/Focus TQM on technical or functional topics.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Deliver as team lead or member in specific LACE phases covering innovation identification and realization, solution planning or advisory related topics. Support and advice project phases like Business Blueprinting, Integration Validation, Testing, Cut-Over-Planning, and hyper care. Contribute to the definition of the innovation, transformation, and IT-strategy of a customer. Identify functional, technology and operational risks and execute necessary mitigation steps. Perform and lead overall analysis of the situation at key accounts. Optimize business processes. Contribute to the realization of prototypes using latest technologies. Deliver integration topics like user integration, system integration and process integration and ensure data consistency, performance, and exception management. Implements specific best practice operations scenario and can utilize expert tools in delivery Fulfilling back-office functions. Deliver independently as team member functions within the virtual project room. Explain portfolio and services to customer, sales and solutioning.  

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:  

  • SAP S4HANA sourcing and procurement; 

  • Business Network Integration using CIG; 

  • SAP GUI, Webdynpro and Fiori; 

  • SAP ABAP, oData, and OOABAP; 

  • BOPF framework; 

  • Test Automation using ABAP Units, OPA5; and 

  • Trace monitoring using STAD, ST12, ST05, ABAP Test Cockpit, SCI and ANST tools. 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency:  The annual base salary range for this position is $118,024 - $143,910. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $118,024 - $159,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
